A titanium dioxide (TIO2) concentrate in a polymer carrier is known as white masterbatch. This product uniformly disperses and improves flow properties, which result in convenient processing and maximum hiding power. This masterbatch must be used if your requirements are dispersibility, UV stability, high opacity and colouring strength. In order to produce this type of masterbatch, those additives are used that do not affect the coefficient of friction of film during its production. It can be used for making HDPE blow moulded articles, injection moulded articles, LDPE monolayer shopping bags and HMHDPE monolayer bags with better gloss. Masterbatch containing 40-60 percent TIO2 is ideal for making thick films (40-200 microns). Masterbatch with high TIO2 content and maximum dispersion is used for thin films.
